Prime Minister Modi drops a bombshell about the hidden ties between Khalistani separatists and Canada. Discover the shocking revelation now!
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised concerns with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding the connection between Khalistani separatists, organized crime, drug syndicates, and human trafficking networks. He emphasized that these issues should also be a cause for concern for the Canadian government.
During their discussion, Prime Minister Modi conveyed India’s strong apprehensions about the ongoing anti-India activities conducted by Khalistani separatist groups within Canada. He pointed out that in recent years, these separatists have utilized Canadian soil to advocate for secessionist movements. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted in a press release that Prime Minister Modi informed Trudeau about how these Khalistani extremists have incited violence against Indian diplomats, caused damage to diplomatic facilities, and posed threats to the Indian community in Canada, including their places of worship.
In a previous instance in July, India had summoned the Canadian envoy and issued a demarche in response to the escalating activities of pro-Khalistani elements in Canada. This action was taken after separatists, known to have connections with Pakistan’s secret services, released posters containing the names of specific Indian diplomats.
Prime Minister Modi stressed that Canada should be concerned about the nexus between such extremist forces and organized crime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. He emphasized the need for both countries to collaborate in addressing these threats.
He also highlighted that India-Canada relations are grounded in shared democratic values, a commitment to the rule of law, and strong people-to-people ties. Prime Minister Modi emphasized that a relationship built on mutual respect and trust is vital for the progress of India-Canada relations.
The discussion between the two leaders took place on the sidelines of the G20 Summit’s final day, during which Trudeau congratulated Prime Minister Modi on the success of India’s G20 Presidency.
